Easter Visit

Don and I were invited to Julaine's for Easter dinner so I asked Don to help me make an Easter Basket Scavenger Hunt for her. He is so good at rhyming things and coming up with just what I want.
We went to the Elkhorn ward to join Julaine for church and then we headed home with her. Addison changed from her pretty pink Easter dress into her swim suit and spent the day in it. So glad it was a warm day and she does look so cute in it. We had a wonderful dinner which Julaine made. There was ham, rolls, sweet potatoes, cheesy potatoes and beats. It was delicious!!!. After dinner Julaine had Addison find her Easter basket.  She was enjoying that so much that we waited awhile before we started the scavenger hunt that Don and I created for her. I wanted her to appreciate what she got in her Easter Basket from Mom & Dad and that worked well

With each clue there was an egg with a treat or a prize. Here she is looking in Mommy's closet and Daddy is reading the next clue to her.

Brr, she found one of the clues in the fridge.

Another clue was found where she brushes her teeth
Looks like she found another egg and clue in the microwave

The bath tub was a perfect place to hide a clue

Here is what the clues looked like. I thought they were
really cute.

Another in the piano bench

After 9 clues she finally found the basket treasure in Daddy's car.

In the basket were items for the whole family

In the basket there was a stuffed lamb, a stroller toy, a rattle, a book about the true reason for Easter and a special egg light for Felix. Addison got rings, lip gloss, and purple finger nail polish in the eggs as she did the hunt  and in the basket there was a pink closet that held 3 Disney princesses with cardboard magnetic dresses to dress the dolls in. There was an Easter Egg tree for Jason and Julaine and of course an assortment of Easter candy.

Don loves playing with Felix.

I love his sweet smile.  We had such a wonderful day we stayed the night.

Coloring Eggs

Julaine came in for a visit the week before Easter so I made some hard boiled eggs
so that Addison and I could color them together. What kid doesn't love coloring eggs.
When my kids were growing up I bought a few coloring sets at Easter
so we could color eggs a couple other times during the year.

Addison had a fun time and loved all the pretty colors.
She's so grown up now she wanted to do every thing all by herself.
She did a great Job!!!
No spills and the eggs look very pretty!
