Shower for John and Brittany

This Sunday Sherie and I had a shower for Brittany at her home.
When Sherie and I planned the shower
we were hoping to have it out on patio but we ended up
having it indoor because it was a day of many showers .
John and Brittany before we left for the shower

Sherie had this all set up when we arrived.
The tulips were so pretty an added touch.

I made these as favors for the quests. The saying attached to the ribbon says...
"Love is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own"

Desserts from the Gingerbread House Yum!

Sheri and Carol(Brittany's Grandma) preparing food

The finished product of our labors

Sherie bought John and Brittany these cute hats It's hard to read Brittany's
but it says Bride in silver studs
Just before we said the prayer on the food

This is my sister Pam's gift to Brittany. What a cleaver and creative way
to wrap a gift. It looks just like Brittany.

Some of the presents before they are opened

Jason and Don having a special moment with Felix

I guess she is ready for the honeymoon now

Jennifer, Kimberly and Julaine's gift to the happy couple

Debbie and Sean gave them this cute Honeymoon Survival Kit.
I'm sure there are a few thing in this that
they don't know what they are but they will come in handy later.

It was a fun gift to open especially since Debbie had put such cute sayings on each item

Some nice bowls from Cindy

Kristen making the ribbon bouquet

One of the presents had this sparkly tulle in it and I suggested they use it
for a veil when all the gifts were open. Kristen liked the idea and her they are
after the all the gifts were opened. What a charming couple.

John was fascinated with this gift of spices

Everyone watching the gifts being opened

Addison saw me taking all the pictures and wanted me to take hers
Just relaxing after the gifts are all opened
It was a great day for all who participated and a time to strengthen family bonds
